Im Rahmen ihrer Europatour besucht uns die Band „hubris.“ aus der Schweiz. Eröffnen wird den Abend die Singer-Songwriterin „Ellereve“ mit Liveband aus München.
hubris. ist eine 2014 gegründete Schweizer Post-Rock-Band aus Fribourg. Das Instrumentalquartett zeichnet sich durch seinen besonders originellen Stil aus, der einen experimentellen Touch von Post-Rock, Electronica-Atmosphäre und Elemente aus der Progressive- und Metal-Szene vereint. Charakterisierend sind ihre einzigartigen Kompositionen, deren Länge eine Balance zwischen roher Energie und poetischem Ambiente zulässt. Diese musikalische Heterogenität sorgt für eine ebenso abwechslungsreiche emotionale Ansprache des Publikums. Inspirieren lassen sie sich dabei unter anderem von Künstlern wie Woodkid, Jon Hopkins, This Will Destroy You oder The Contortionist. Sie werden außerdem oft mit Künstlern wie Sigur Rós oder Long Distance Calling verglichen. Sie haben bisher vier Alben veröffentlicht – Emersion (2015), Apocryphal Gravity (2017), Metempsychosis (2020) und The One Above (2023). Ihre Musik wurde von der Kritik hochgelobt und begeistert fast eine Million Zuhörer im Internet.
Ellereve – dahinter verbirgt sich die Münchner Singer-Songwriterin Elisa Giulia Teschner. Die Künstlerin hat einen wahrhaft unverwechselbaren Stil in Form von intensiven Dark Rock Songs voller emotionaler Dringlichkeit und Sehnsucht entwickelt. Die Musik von Ellereve enthüllt die einzigartige, starke Persönlichkeit der Komponistin, welche durch das Zusammentreffen von atmosphärischen Synths, dynamischen Drums, tiefen Bässen, sowie verzerrten und Hall geladenen Gitarren atemberaubend dargestellt wird. Nach der Veröffentlichung ihrer Debüt EP ‚Heart Murmurs‘ und weiteren Singles in den letzten zwei Jahren wurde der Sound von Ellereve noch kraftvoller, was nicht zuletzt daran liegt, dass ihre neuen Stücke auch mehr auf organische Elemente setzen.

hubris. is a Swiss post-rock band from Fribourg, founded in 2014. The instrumental quartet is characterized by its particularly original style, which combines an experimental touch of post-rock, electronica atmosphere and elements from the progressive and metal scene. The length of their compositions allows for a range of evolving emotions through both raw energy and poetic ambience. They are inspired by artists such as Woodkid, Jon Hopkins, This Will Destroy You and The Contortionist. They are also often compared to artists such as Sigur Rós or Long Distance Calling. They have released four albums so far – Emersion (2015), Apocryphal Gravity (2017), Metempsychosis (2020) and The One Above (2023). Their music has been critically acclaimed and has almost a million listeners on the internet.
Ellereve – behind this name is the singer-songwriter Elisa Giulia Teschner from Munich. The artist has developed a truly distinctive style in the form of intense dark rock songs full of emotional urgency and longing. Undoubtedly, Ellereve’s music reveals the her unique, strong personality, which is stunningly portrayed through the clash of atmospheric synths, dynamic drums, deep bass, as well as distorted guitars with a lot of reverb. Following the release of her debut EP ‚Heart Murmurs‘ and further singles over the past two years, Ellereve’s sound has become even more powerful, not least because her new tracks also focus more on organic elements.
